London Tech Week

London Tech Week 2025 — bigger crowds, bolder claims, and a few genuinely important conversations.
We spent the week across panels, side events, and a lot of hallway conversations at London Tech Week 2025. Here's an honest account of what we heard, what we found useful, and what we're still thinking about.
The Themes That Dominated
Three topics came up in almost every room:
- AI in regulated industries — particularly fintech, health, and legal
- Talent and hiring in a tighter market
- How UK startups can compete globally without burning out their teams

The Conversations That Stood Out
The most valuable moments weren't on the main stage — they were in the smaller breakout sessions where founders spoke candidly about what's actually working. A recurring theme: the companies growing fastest right now are obsessing over retention, not acquisition.

What We Took Away as a Team
- Ecosystem thinking is going mainstream — even non-technical founders are talking about APIs and partnerships
- Investors are more patient than the headlines suggest, but they want proof of unit economics earlier
- Community is becoming a legitimate distribution channel, not just a nice-to-have

Our Take on the London Tech Scene
London's strength has always been its diversity — of industries, backgrounds, and ambitions. This week reinforced that. The energy was less about hype and more about building things that last, which feels like the right direction.

See You Next Year
We'll be back — and hopefully with more to share about our own progress. If you were at the event and want to continue any of the conversations, reach out.
